Course summary

Applied Science allows you to study a broad range of science topics without having to decide between Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The course is designed for learners who are interested in learning about science alongside other fields of study. There is a focus on developing proficiency in practical skills and you have the chance to explore titration, calorimetry and chromatography. This course can be taken alongside other BTEC and A Level subjects to suit the needs of the student. There is both coursework and exam elements to consider so students need to have good standards of English and Maths to do this subject. This course will allow you to progress into a wide range of higher education courses based around science.
