This course is aimed at students aged 16-18 that have a passion for sport, fitness and physical activity. This is the first year of a two year course that establishes and develops industry relevant skills for those seeking employment within the fitness industry. Course delivery uses a mix of practical and theory based learning to enhance relevant skills for work within the fitness industry.
4 x GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade A- C) including English & Maths or a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit or above. Students who have 3 x GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade A- C) including English and Maths should apply and will be interviewed.
The course is internally assessed through a combination of coursework based assignments and practical assessments. Each assignment is grade Pass, Merit or Distinction.
