An introduction to the health and social care sector through applied learning. Topics of study include Human Lifespan Development, Working in Health and Social Care, Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs and an investigation into Psychological Perspectives.
Minimum of 5 GCSE grades at 9-4 or BTEC Distinction* - Pass. You will require at least a grade 5 in your GCSE English and Maths examination. If you have studied Health & Social Care at KS4 we would expect you to have achieved a Merit grade and to have shown a desire to succeed in the subject.
