Psychology is the study of the human mind, brain functions, behaviour and the individual’s place in society. It is a social science which incorporates a range of topics including philosophy, biology, and physiology. It is therefore of considerable benefit to students studying other science subjects as you will develop sound analytical skills through the application of the scientific method.
Minimum of 5 GCSE grades at 9-4 or BTEC Distinction* - Pass. You will require at least a grade 6 in your GCSE Maths, English and Science examinations, particularly Biology. GCSE grade 6 in History, Geography and Languages are also very favourable.
