This course is a coherent study of the health and social care sector and supports progression to a HE university degree in a related subject; these include nursing, midwifery, paramedic science, social work, occupational therapy, teaching, and many more. It could also lead to an apprenticeship in the sector for those who wish to go straight out into practice to work as care/ support workers.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (grade C) or above, including English and Maths
Assessments will be via external exams, controlled internal assessments and written assignments
