Our A Level Law course is designed to encourage and engage you sustain your interest and enjoyment in law, and enable you to develop your analytical and critical thinking skills. Studying law enhances problem-solving skills through the application of legal rules, together with an understanding of legal methods and reasoning. These skills provide excellent preparation for those students who wish to progress to degree-level study or pursue a wide range of careers. A Level Law is a fascinating subject that covers many aspects of life; equipping you with a range of skills and knowledge which will support further study and/or employment. The delivery of the course is supported by visits from legal professionals and universities in addition to visits to courts and other places of interest. A Level Law is an excellent introduction to studying law at university, a legal apprenticeship, or training as a Chartered Legal Executive. In addition to progressing to careers as solicitors or barristers, Level Law students may also progress to careers in criminology, policing, business, politics, and teaching. Former students have secured places at some of our top universities and have progressed to a career in law.
You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in Maths. You must have 5 GCSEs at Grade 4(C) or above. Grade 6 in English or a Humanities subject.
