➢ The course begins with a broad skills-based experience in the Lower Sixth, where students learn all the essentials of both film & digital photography, including darkroom techniques and using Photoshop. ➢ In the Upper Sixth students work on their two marked projects, the first a substantial coursework project, which includes an accompanying essay, and a number of final outcomes; the second an externally set exam project which culminates in a 15 hour exam. As part of the course we visit galleries in London.
Students with a GCSE average point score* of between 5.0 and 7.0 are strongly encouraged to take three A Level courses Grade 5 in GCSE Art or Photography if taken.
