Course summary

A Level of Sociology offers students the opportunity to study a range of sociological perspectives and issues relevant to society such as family, education, and religious beliefs. The course features a variety of relevant and contemporary themes helping to inspire engaging classroom discussion and prepare students for the wider world. Students will also gain core skills such as critical thinking, application, and analysis. These are skills sought after by higher education and employers.
