This course provides insight into how businesses are structured and the external environment they are operating in. Topics include stakeholders, competition, and how businesses differ in size, staffing, and culture. Researching real businesses and the factors that affect their success will be crucial: laws, the state of the economy, and social trends. Students will also look in detail at the marketing area of business, including designing their own budgeted marketing campaign for a selected business.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (grade C) or above, including English and Maths.
