The Cambridge Technical Health and Social Care course is designed for students with an interest in working in a related industry and also those who are interested in the subject but may choose a different career path. This vocational course covers a range of units which will include: ➢ Building Positive Relationships in Health & Social Care ➢ Equality, Diversity & Rights ➢ Health, Safety & Security ➢ Anatomy and Physiology ➢ Public Health ➢ Supporting people with mental health conditions.
Students with a GCSE average point score* of between 3.5 and 4.0 are only able to study three Cambridge Technical courses Grade 4 in GCSE English and Biology or the Biology component of Combined Science.
The course will be assessed using exams (50%) and coursework (50%).
