The Cambridge Technical IT course is designed for students with an interest in working in the IT sector and also those who are interested in the subject but may choose a different career path. This vocational course specialises in the Application Developer pathway and covers a range of units which will include: Application Design, Internet of Everything, Fundamentals of IT, Global Information and Product Development.
Students with a GCSE average point score* of between 3.5 and 4.0 are only able to study three Cambridge Technical courses Pass (P2) in Cambridge National in Creative iMedia or Grade 4 in GCSE Computer Science if taken.
A range of assessment types and styles will be used: 2 externally assessed Units (written exams) 3 internally assessed assignments (written/practical)
