Course summary
History is viewed as a challenging and academic subject and as a result it is perceived positively by universities for many courses including History and Law degrees. Careers leading from a history qualification are varied and it is recognised as valuable in many career pathways. More traditional routes would include Journalist, Lawyer, Archaeologist, Archivist, Art Restoration, Building and Conservation, Civil Service, Heritage Industry, Media Research, Museums, Tourism and Leisure and Teaching.
