A Level Geography focuses on contemporary geography, looking at issues facing local and global communities both now and in the future. Importantly, you will learn about physical and human processes operating in a variety of the world’s environments. Other topics include glaciation, the earth’s life support systems, exploring our oceans, and contemporary issues of sovereignty and ownership. To succeed you will need to be inquisitive, motivated, hardworking, and ready to get out of the classroom to discover what is happening in the field.
