Course summary

The Foundation diploma is the first year of a 2 year programme of study. It is tailored for those that wish to strengthen their academic abilities and gain a broader knowledge of Health and Social Care. It is an ideal starting point for those that wish to work in health and social care environments or those that wish to move on to study in higher education in the area of health and social care. You will study various topics.

Entry requirements

Minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade 4 or above one of which must English Language. You will need to have Maths GCSE at a minimum grade 3.

How you'll be assessed

To pass this course you will need to meet all deadlines for assignments in each topic area. You will also need to pass the exam elements. You may need to resit Maths and English as part of this course. There will be exam elements to this too.
