The A-level product design course has been developed to be a creative and thought-provoking qualification that allows students to develop a high level of practical skills, theoretical knowledge and confidence to succeed in several creative careers and industries. Throughout the course, students will investigate historical, social, cultural, environmental and economic influences on design and technology, whilst enjoying opportunities to put their learning into practice by developing solutions to problems and client briefs. A Level of product design provides the opportunity for students to unleash their creativity based on a user-centered, iterative design process.
GCSE grade 5 in a design and technology subject, 5 in English, maths and science
