You will complete four units within the year. These consist of a range of units including: • The Business Environment • Business Decisions • International Business • Customers and Communication • Marketing and Market Research In addition, you will study a range of other business courses. This course really focuses on the vocational aspects of Business so you will find a lot of teaching is based on case studies, application to a variety of different businesses, visiting speakers, role plays, and visits to industry. You will also be expected to undertake a two-week work experience placement.
A minimum of five GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade A* – C or 4 – 9 including English Language, and a minimum of a grade 4 in Maths.
Students will be assessed by a mixture of coursework and tasks set by the exam board. Successful completion of all units is required.
