Health & Social Care is designed to introduce you to the changes people undergo through their lives, and the ways in which society is able to meet and support these changing needs. This Level 3 Extended Certificate is taken over 2 years and is the equivalent of one A Level. It can be studied alongside other A Levels, or similar Level 3 alternative A Level qualifications such as Applied Psychology.
You will need to have GCSEs with 2 grade 6s and 3 grade 5s including English Language. A Level 2 Science qualification at merit or distinction level may also be considered. Retaking GCSE Maths as as part of your programme is required if you do not have grade 4.
This course is assessed through a combination of examinations and coursework.
