Course summary

If you have a passion for engines our courses could be just what you are looking for. There are around 35 million vehicles licensed for use in the UK and this growing sector will always need highly qualified vehicle technicians. You will benefit from our fully equipped, purpose-built motor vehicle workshop - while gaining the skills and knowledge to confidently find faults and solve problems. The spacious workshop is installed with industry-standard equipment, including: • 4 & 2 poster ramps • a simulated MOT Bay • brake testing equipment • diagnostic testing equipment • electric vehicles • virtual workshop classroom. Tutors are highly experienced and have had successful careers working with cars, motorcycles, and heavy goods vehicles, some in the British Army. The college has strong industry links with Hyundai, Toyota, Vauxhall, and Ford Wigan garages.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-3, or equivalent, including English or Maths.
