Course summary
Graphic Design represents communication in its purest form. The designer has a responsibility to make information easily available and understandable through skill, knowledge and wit. Good visual communication is at the heart of a civilised society. During the course, you will gain the necessary skills and understanding to create great design. By studying the work of great designers, and the art movements they are influenced by, you will gain the knowledge to make your work stronger. You will cover disciplines such as typography, digital design, photography, traditional illustration and animation. You will discover where your particular talents lie when communicating visually, then work towards a specialism with one to one expert guidance during the second year. At the end of the two years you will have created a body of work that reflects your particular skills in the field of Graphics.
