This course is designed to equip you with a profound understanding of the world, focusing on pressing contemporary issues such as the short and long-term implications of ‘Brexit,’ housing dynamics, the evolving economy in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, austerity measures, environmental concerns, lessons learned from financial crises, income and wealth inequality, and the productivity gap.
General entry requirements are 5 or more GCSEs graded 4/5 or above including English Language, and ideally, Maths. To study this course, grade 6 GCSE Maths and Grade 5 GCSE English Language is required.
Assessment for this course is conducted by the AQA Examination Board, with three two-hour exams primarily focused on extended writing.
