Course summary

A Level Chemistry is a stimulating, rigorous and challenging subject that will develop your scientific skills and knowledge. There will be lots of opportunities to perform hands-on work in newly refurbished laboratories and gain an insight into the relevance of Chemistry beyond the classroom. This is important because Chemistry is the study of the substances that make both us and the things around us. Indeed, if humankind did not understand what substances were or how they work, we could not cure diseases, develop new materials or respond to and correct changes in our environment.
