There will be 7 mandatory units and 6 optional units over this 2 year course. Mandatory units: • Exploring business • Developing a marketing campaign • Personal and business finance • Managing an event • International business • Principals of management • Business decision making The optional units may include areas of study such as marketing, law, accounts, human resources etc. which are designed to link to relevant occupational areas.
5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including Maths and English, or a Level 2 in Business or related qualification with a Level 2 Merit plus English and Maths Functional Skills at Level 2 .
You will be internally assessed via professional business reports, presentations; in class controlled assessments, independent research tasks as well as 4 externally set exams.
