Course summary

BTEC business gives students good opportunities to develop employability skills that are relevant to the world of work or for going on to higher education, such as the ability to negotiate, influence, think critically, and develop resilience. Students will prepare and deliver presentations and will work and lead in group situations. All students will develop analytical and creative skills to solve problems and evaluate outcomes, using systems and technology where appropriate. Studying this course will allow you to develop a critical understanding of different businesses and to immerse yourself in a business-like mindset.
