Course summary

The study of Level 3 Sport allows learners to understand about the broad concept of sport and the theoretical elements that are integrated to a large part of our culture and society. The course starts with the focus of Anatomy and Physiology, this part of the course is very scientific and requires an understanding of the functions of the four major systems in the human body and how they are affected during exercise. In the diploma option students will study 6 mandatory units which cover : - Anatomy & Physiology (EC) - Fitness Training and Programming (EC) - Professional Development in Sport - Sports Leadership - Investigating business in Sport - Skill Acquisition
