Course summary

Do you want to produce a radio advert? Or perhaps a TV show? Do you want to put your ideas into action? If you are a creative individual and have a passion for filmmaking, producing and generating projects from media briefs then our creative media course is the pathway for you. Our courses provide an excellent foundation in media production. You will be taught a broad range of skills to progress into higher education or the creative media industry. They will provide you with the creative, digital and practical skills required to compete in a fast-paced and ever-growing industry. You will learn how to engage with a variety of audiences and learn how to produce work which appeals to them through a selection of resources. We offer high-quality facilities including a broadcasting suite and TV studio plus our industry-standard software will enable you to produce work to an outstanding quality. Your studies will include a wide range of media-related projects and techniques. These include multi-camera production, radio programming, presenting techniques, social action documentaries, TV advertising, web design and animation, music video, film studies and photography. You will also have the opportunity to be part of our production company, college radio station and the Career Academy Programme in Professional Media.
