WHAT WILL YOU STUDY? • The Tudors: England 1485-1603 • Democracy and Nazism: Germany 1918-1945 • Civil Rights in the USA: 1877- 1980 (historical investigation topic) Our A-level History course will enable you to develop useful skills in critical thinking, evaluation, analysis and interpretation. It is a qualification with currency which is valued both in higher education and employment. This qualification can lead to careers in teaching, journalism, broadcasting, law, business, government, museums and many more.
Students who don’t achieve a grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE English and maths must continue to study them in the 6th form.
