This course is designed to combine an in-depth study of biology, chemistry and physics allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge in all three disciplines. Most importantly, students will develop their skills in order to conduct practical experiments to a professional standard. This will prepare them perfectly for further study or employment within the industry. Units of study have been carefully chosen to combine biology, chemistry, physics, and maths.
Level 2 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have a minimum of four grade 3s at GCSE. Level 3 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have achieved a minimum of five grade 4s at GCSE, which must include a grade 5 in Maths. Progression from Level 2 Vocational Science will require a Merit grade profile with Level 2 passes in examined units, with a grade 4 in English and Grade 5 in Maths. Additional Information: For Level 2 Vocational Courses, we will consider 2 vocationals, ideally one to be in a related subject. For Level 3 Vocational Courses, we will consider 1 Vocational qualification in place of a GCSE as long as a grade 4 is achieved in English.
