This 3 A-Level equivalent programme is aimed at those considering a career in software development and programming, or cyber security and computer networks. All students will study the same core units on year one, then study specialist units on year two in either software development and programming or cyber security and computer networks. Students will gain a range of the most up-to-date practical skills and knowledge required for progression into higher education and employment within the industry. Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above including English Language and maths. Level 2 qualifications in relevant subjects will also be considered. Entry is also subject to entrance assessments. You will also be required to achieve an acceptable level on entrance assessments.

How you'll be assessed

By written assignment, examination and practical observation.
