This hands-on, practical course aims to develop an understanding of contemporary music through performing, composing and studying popular styles. You will be supported by expert tutors to explore the role of music technology through the use of sequencing software (used in the creation of electronic music) and basic editing techniques. Learn how music works as a profession in our purpose built music studios and our 300 seater theatre. You will develop performance skills and have opportunities to perform to an audience. You will also have the opportunity to take part in activities and trips to enhance your learning.
To study A a Vocational programme at OSFC you will need a minumum of 5 passes (Grade 4 or better) at GCSE, including a 4 in English or Maths.
