RSL’s Subsidiary Diploma allows each learner to explore and develop a skill set unique to them. Whether they want to develop as a rock musician playing with others or start a career as a solo singer, this course has been designed to motivate and inspire learners to embark on a career in music.
Minimum requirement: grade 5 in GCSE Music or grade 5 instrumental grade. An audition may be required.
Examinations: Year 12 • Internally assessed coursework only. Examinations: Year 13 • Externally Assessed Exam: 12 week-controlled assessment window to complete coursework and live performance. 33% of overall grade.
