This course is very challenging but enjoyable. Students who study Further Mathematics have to also study Mathematics. The A Level is linear being assessed in three exams at the end of Year 13. Full A Level content includes Proof, Complex numbers, Matrices, Further algebra and functions, Further calculus, Further vectors, Polar coordinates, Hyperbolic functions and Differential equations.
For all Sixth Form courses, students must have 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes at Grades 9-4. For this course this must include Mathematics at a Grade 8 or above and English Language/Literature at a Grade 4 or above.
