Course summary

You will develop a range of skills including the ability to analyse and interpret scientific data. You will also gain skills in designing scientific investigations taking into account factors such as ensuring variables are controlled in experiments and that the data is collected is reliable. You will also gain practical skills by carrying out a range of scientific experiments. You will study a range of topics in A level Physics including Forces & motion, electrons, waves & photons, quantum physics, the Newtonian world, astrophysics & cosmology and medical physics.
