Course summary

Not just story writing, although there is a bit of that. You will explore how we judge people’s language, how the media uses language to persuade and mould, how and why language varies, as well as other topic areas that show you how language has the power to shape our lives. You will deepen your understanding of the way we learn language as children and why our language constantly changes. You will also be given the opportunity to work more independently on an investigation project.
