Course summary

A-Level Chemistry (AQA) will enable students to build on concepts and skills that will have been developed in the GCSE. You will analyse and evaluate scientific knowledge, and apply it to unfamiliar situations, demonstrate and describe practical techniques and processes, and develop an understanding of chemical concepts using real world chemical applications drawn from modern applications in industry and in the environment.
