Unit 2: Covers the Literature of World War One and its aftermath. The texts studied will include: one prose, (Birdsong, Sebastian Faulks) one poetry, (The Oxford Book of War Poetry, Ed. Jon Stallworthy) and one drama, (My Boy Jack, David Haig). The examination will include an unseen extract to test your independent skills. Please seek advice before purchasing any of the above.
