Geography
Course summary
There’s never been a more important time to study geography by exploring our constantly changing, but increasingly interconnected world. A-level Geography will enable you to become a critical thinker whilst developing your analytical, fieldwork, and research skills. During the course you will explore the carbon and water cycles that affect the health and prosperity of society; the dynamic nature of coastal systems and landscapes and the vulnerability of populations to natural hazards. You will also engage with contemporary issues of geopolitics and globalization, and examine the connections between society, economy, and environment and their impact on places.
