An exploration of growth and development through the study of both educational and psychological theory, BTEC Health and Social Care offers students the opportunity to understand human behavior in more detail. This knowledge is applied in a coursework unit where students discuss two case studies, focusing on meeting individual care and support needs. In year two, the study is focused on working within the health and social care sector and discusses government policies and legislation.
