The BTEC level 3 Computing course allows students to develop a more in-depth understanding of the practice and theory of Computer Systems. Throughout the study, students are encouraged to develop both their theory and practical skills. This course encourages students to acquire a wider range of practical IT knowledge than other courses, with a study path that includes topics as diverse as IT Systems Security and Encryption (Unit 7) and Computer Game Design (Unit 14) or Website Development (Unit 15).
Five GCSE qualifications at minimum grade 4-9. Minimum grade 4 in English Language and Minimum grade 5 in Computer Science or BTEC IT: Level 2.
