As an introduction to business, you will develop relevant business understanding with transferable skills through hands-on experience and preparing further study in business or the world of work. Units include: • the principles of working in business administration • understanding the role of the administrator • the use of social media for business • supporting the organisation of an event You can work with the Enterprise Academy, Unloc, which supports business knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, and take part in work experience or volunteering.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English language.
Assessments will comprise 60% personal investigation and 40% externally set practical exam. Your coursework is internally assessed and externally moderated.
