Course summary

Students will develop their communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. They will learn to study the social aspects of language, and will develop their creative writing skills, learning how to write for a specific audience and purpose. The course is very lively and discussion based; students are encouraged to debate their own ideas, and think about the construction of language.
