English Literature is the study of written fiction and its meanings in all forms – from the influential and seismic to the marginalized and repressed. You’ll explore works spanning 900 years, including Shakespeare, his lesser-known contemporaries, modern drama that has reshaped the genre, poetry from across the centuries, and two novels for a non-examined assessment based around a focus of your choosing. You will develop thorough and insightful critical analysis skills that would suit a variety of future endeavors.
