Course summary
The world is likely to change more in the next 50 years than it ever has done before. Geographical issues are dominating the newspapers as well as political decision making. Students who decide to take Geography as an A level will learn about the causes and effects of geographical issues as well as looking at the management and solution opportunities. Students will follow the Edexcel A level specification. This specification is organised around compulsory and option topics, which are structured around key enquiry questions. Through classroom based activities, with extension through homework and suggested independent learning activities. There are also field visits to complete independent research in preparation for the coursework.
