Course summary

Interested in a career in nursing, midwifery, teaching or care? This course will allow you to develop your employment skills and independent learning. Lessons involve group discussion, presentations and producing written reports for assessment or preparing for external exams based on case studies. Extended Certificate (one A Level equivalent): • Unit 1: Human Lifespan Development (exam) • Unit 2: Working in Health and Social Care (exam) • Unit 5: Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs (coursework) • One other coursework unit (likely to be Unit 14: Physiological Disorders)
