Extended Certificate (one A Level equivalent): • Unit 1: Human Lifespan Development (exam) • Unit 2: Working in Health and Social Care (exam) • Unit 5: Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs (coursework) • One other coursework unit (likely to be Unit 14: Physiological Disorders)
• You do not need to have studied Health & Social Care previously. • Students who have studied the subject at Key Stage 4 require at least a Merit in Level 2 BTEC Health & Social Care. • Students who have not studied the subject before, require a grade 5 or above in English.
