Psychology is a very popular subject at NCS and it develops a range of valuable skills including critical analysis, independent thinking and research. These skills are particularly relevant to young people to further study and the workplace. Many previous students have continued onto university studies of Psychology. Psychology will be a great springboard into any health or medical related career, careers in education or child development, careers in law and the justice system, or careers in media and advertising. If you are interested in the scientific understanding of human behaviour and want to understand topical issues such as eating disorders, phobias and personality then you should choose Psychology.
It is recommended that students achieve a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 5 and above which must include at least a Grade 5 in English and Maths and Grade 6 at GCSE Combined Science or a single science.
There will be 3 written papers which will be of equal waiting.
