Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behavior. Across the two years, students will study introductory topics in Psychology, Psychology in context, and issues and options in Psychology. Paper 1: Introductory Topics in Psychology - Social Influence - Memory - Attachment - Psychopathology Paper 2: Psychology in Context - Approaches - Biopsychology - Research Methods (including understanding of statistical tests, methods used in Psychology plus mathematical knowledge including data handling and interpretation). Paper 3: Introductory Topics in Psychology - Issues and Debates - Relationships - Forensics - Schizophrenia
