The Music BTEC course suits those who have instrument and/or vocal skills, are interested in working as musicians in a range of styles and enjoy working with others to create performances. Students will study units based on session styles; music performance techniques; popular music history and working and developing as a musical ensemble. You will also learn how to plan and participate in a music project.
Waddesdon Point System in place to gain a place in Sixth Form. Then to study Music: students should have GCSE Music at 5 or higher, but, more importantly, should show an interest in practical music-making and performance. A grade 5 in English Language is also important due to the written element.
