This two year A Level course is for students who are passionate about Photography and are looking to build upon and extend their creative skills. A Level Photography gives students exposure to different aspects of Photography and the arts, allowing them to display their abilities in a variety of artistic disciplines.
Minimum Grade 4 GCSE in English This course involves a lot of reading, writing and analysing images. You will be required to write 3000 word essay.
You will be assessed using the four A Level assessment objectives: AO1: Develop ideas through sustained and focused investigations informed by contextual and other sources, demonstrating analytical and critical understanding. AO2: Explore and select appropriate resources, media, materials, techniques and processes, reviewing and refining ideas as work develops. AO3: Record ideas, observations and insights relevant to intentions, reflecting critically on work and progress. AO4: Present a personal and meaningful response that realises intentions and, where appropriate, makes connections between visual and other elements.
