Art and Design (Fine Art)

Course summary

A Level Art is a perfect opportunity for students to explore and express their ideas and personal creativity. You will be challenged to take creative risks through your ideas, imagination and a variety of media in a studio environment. You will be encouraged to explore and question the significance of artists’ work and the way in which it has, and continues to be, interpreted. After developing skills in fine art, photography and 3D, you will be able to focus on your preferred medium. This will be supported by trips to a variety of national Art Galleries.
