As an issuesbased course you will be equipped to answer some critical issues and problems in the world such as destruction of natural environments, people and hazards, global poverty, climate change. The focus moves from local to global issues and is complemented by a programme of residential fieldwork.
- Must gain a Grade 5 in GCSE Geography if studied, as well as a Grade 5 or above in GCSE English Language and English Literature, and a Grade 5 or above in Maths. - At least grade 5 in both GCSE English Language and Maths as well as 3 other GCSEs at grade 5 or equivalent.
Exam 80%, one piece of coursework 20%.
