Course summary

For someone who enjoys mathematics, Further Mathematics provides a challenge and a chance to explore new more sophisticated mathematical concepts. As well as learning new areas of pure mathematics you will study further applications of mathematics in mechanics, statistics and decision mathematics. You will have the opportunity to take part in competitions such as the BEBRAS Challenge and the UKMT individual and team challenges. Our most accomplished students can take part in the Senior Kangaroo Challenge. The topics studied on this course are: • Pure • Statistics • Mechanics • Decision Maths
